Well, I'm into my foster home and I think that I'll be happy to just hang out until my forever family comes along. I have a foster sister who is fun to watch play. Me...I'm a different kind of player. There isn't a person alive who I can't charm out of a cookie or a good petting. Don't believe me? Come meet me and find out for yourself. I could win your heart in moments. I'm like Casanova.

My foster parents took me for a bath, which was delightful. The stairs into the tub at the dog wash weren't easy for me with the arthritis, but I would do anything to make them happy with me. Gee...it really paid off too. That warm water felt so good and they spent all this time devoted to bringing out how handsome I really am. I can't wait to hit the groomers and lose the rest of this extra hair. I'll be the most exquisite gentleman!

I'm not a big walker. I'm usually much more content to just sit in the house and enjoy the company of my foster family, but I do like the pleasure of getting to just find a cozy space outside to lay down and enjoy a cool breeze and some sunshine. When my foster sister plays ball, I'm happy to cheer her on from the sidelines. I get all the good petting and rubbing, she gets to do all the chasing. It's so perfect. My foster mom found out exactly how much of a gentleman I am last week. She was sharing a leftover turkey burger (Oh! I LOVE turkey!) between myself and my foster sister. Both of us did so well sharing and I always surprise her with how very careful I am taking treats. I really love treats, but it's hard to get them unless you take them as gently and kind as I do.

Did I mention that they never kennel me? Oh yes. I'm so thankful and happy for being invited into their home that I would never have an "accident" here. I hope that I can continue to show this family how perfect an older dog is - how gentle, kind, relaxed and well-mannered an older fellow like myself can be so that they will tell others.

Can you believe that someone would not want me? Well, I've got them convinced that you must be crazy to not want me. I'll convince you too.
Until next time, love, cuddles and happy nappy times,
Jhettsu
