Wow, another week with the foster family and I'm feeling gggrreeeaaatttt! I'm even loping around the living room like a cute little western pony! My foster sister is constantly trying to play with me, but I'm not quite the same level of activity as her, so she plays and I cheer. The family had a whole bunch of their people family over on the weekend. Everyone was amazed by how loving and sweet I am. (Even Uncle Not-a-Dog-Lover thought I was pretty special. Obviously, he has good taste!) I even got to see the newborn baby and my foster mom was so pleased with how I would sniff with interest but respect baby's space! I really liked the little girl who was petting me. I'm probably twice her mass, but I was such a gentleman taking cookies oh-so-gently and letting her cuddle me that she wasn't scared for a minute. (Only cookies fear my teeth!) The family brought some snakes out over the weekend too. I can't say that I particularly cared that they were out. There were people about. Once they all settled into their games and chatter, I assumed my position (laying under the kitchen table...you know, in case any “accidents” happened with some of the meat and cheese tray he he he) and was perfectly content to just get a little tummy rub by the ladies warming up their toes on my fluffy coat. Oh! What a lovely way to spend an afternoon! Foster mom says that she's going to be taking more pictures of me once I go to the groomer. I really can't wait! I'm handsome now, but I'm going to be the most handsome gentleman in town soon! (Hope as I am?) What more could a person want in a canine companion? I'm sweet, gentle and happy just to be near you. (Hope foster dad keeps an eye on his lady. Who can resist a creature as sweet and charming as I am?)
